Adriana Hölszky receives Robert Schumann Prize

Adriana Hölszky, one of the most influential composers of our time, has been awarded the Robert Schumann Prize for Poetry and Music. On November 19, the Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz honored her work, which has shaped the international musical landscape for decades.

Known for her courageous exploration of the interfaces between language and music, Hölszky has created a unique sound language with her textless music theater. Her compositions take up the visionary ideas of Robert Schumann and continue them in a new dimension.

The 15,000 Euro prize, donated by the Strecker Foundation in Mainz, is another milestone in her impressive career.

We congratulate her on this well-deserved award!
