Celebrating Helmut Lachenmann’s 90th Birthday

On 27 November 2025, Helmut Lachenmann – one of the most influential composers of our time – celebrates his 90th birthday.

A Musicological Sensation

If, in the present day, two hitherto unattributed organ works are ascribed to the young Bach, then this is a musicological and, above all, a musical sensation! After more than 30 years of intensive research, Prof. Dr. Dr. Peter Wollny was able to prove beyond a doubt that the young Bach was the composer of both pieces.
